Man Killed in Ventura Pedestrian Crash at Beachmont Street and Harbor Boulevard
Ventura, California (February 10, 2020) – A male party was struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Ventura.
According to Ventura police, the fatal crash happened at around 7:22 p.m. on February 9, at the intersection of Beachmont Street and Harbor Boulevard, near the Ventura Marina.
As per the report, the male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle of unspecified built for undisclosed reasons.
The operator of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The victim was found laying down in the roadway by medical personnel who responded at the scene shortly after the wreck.
Sadly, the man was declared dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.
The crash resulted in the closure of northbound lanes of Harbor Boulevard temporarily as police worked to clear the scene. The investigation is underway.
