Pedestrian Dies in Sacramento Crash on Interstate 5 near Florin Road
Sacramento, California (March 26, 2020) – A traffic accident claimed the life of a pedestrian Wednesday night in Sacramento, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was struck by a vehicle on the northbound side of Interstate 5, just south of Florin Road at about 10:30 p.m. March 25.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident.
All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Florin Road were closed as the authorities investigated the accident. Motorists were asked to seek alternate routes.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
