Fatal San Luis Obispo Pedestrian Crash on Foothill Boulevard and Los Osos Valley Road
San Luis Obispo, California (February 28, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday, February 27, at about 7:58 a.m. in San Luis Obispo, according to California Highway Patrol.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Los Osos Valley Road.
The pedestrian was struck at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The Los Osos Valley Road was temporarily closed from Foothill Boulevard to Descanso Street for cleanup.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the cause of the crash.
