Pedestrian Killed in Long Beach Crash near 710 Freeway Off-Ramp to Artesia Boulevard Tuesday afternoon
Long Beach, California (April 29, 2020) – A pedestrian died in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Long Beach, a local news source reported.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian, whose name has not been disclosed, was struck by a vehicle near the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway off-ramp to Artesia Boulevard at around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 28.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The off-ramp was closed during the investigation.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately given, and the crash remains under investigation.
