Fatal Palm Desert Pedestrian Crash on Dinah Shore near Monterey Marketplace
Palm Desert, California (February 27, 2020) -A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday evening in Palm Desert, according to a police report.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash on Dinah Shore near the Monterey Marketplace shopping center.
The pedestrian was struck by an SUV on February 27, at around 6:00 p.m. for reasons still under investigation.
The crash took place at the border of Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage by the Krispy Kreme.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Dinah Shore was shut from George Montgomery to Key Large Ave for investigation.
No other details were immediately released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
