Man Seriously Injured in Concord Pedestrian Accident on Port Chicago Highway near Highway 4

Concord, California (February 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday night in Concord, according to authorities.

The pedestrian, an 18-year-old Concord man, was hit by a vehicle on the Port Chicago Highway on-ramp to eastbound Highway 4 at about 9:15 p.m. Monday, February 10.

The victim was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with major injuries.

The driver involved failed to stop to render aid and fled the scene. Police have since found a person and vehicle of interest in the case.
