79-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Linda Vista Pedestrian Accident on Ulric Street and Dunlop Street

San Diego, California (December 29, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle while walking in a marked crosswalk in the Linda Vista neighbourhood Saturday afternoon, police said.

The pedestrian accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 27 on Ulric Street and Dunlop Street.

According to the authorities, the pedestrian, only identified as a 79-year-old man, was crossing Ulric Street on Dunlop Street when for an unknown reason, he was hit by a 2017 Nissan sedan operated by a 51-year-old woman.

The man sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital. His name and current condition were not immediately disclosed.

The accident remains under investigation by the San Diego Police Traffic Division.
