Person Dies Following Fatal Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on San Diego (405) Freeway at Venice Boulevard
Los Angeles, California (January 13, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday evening in West Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal pedestrian accident took place at around 7:35 p.m. Sunday, January 12 on San Diego (405) Freeway at Venice Boulevard.
The CHP said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the freeway for an unknown reason.
The pedestrian was declared at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The accident remains under investigation.
