Man Killed in Victorville Pedestrian Accident on Palmdale Road near Borego Road

Victorville, California (January 25, 2020) – A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday night in Victorville, authorities said.

The deadly accident happened at around 6:50 p.m. Friday, January 24 on Palmdale Road near Borego Road.

Authorities said the man was trying to cross the road when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a dark-colored 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe that was heading eastbound on Palmdale Road.

The man died in the crash. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The driver of the Chevrolet stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.

An investigation into the accident remains under investigation.
