Pedestrian Hit, Injured by Vehicle at Cottage Way and Trimble Way in Sacramento

Person Seriously Injured in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident at Cottage Way and Trimble Way

Sacramento, California (January 12, 2020) – According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle Saturday night in the area of Cottage Way and Trimble Way in Sacramento.

The pedestrian accident occurred at around 9:36 p.m. Saturday, January 11 at the intersection of Cottage Way and Trimble Way.

According to the CHP report, the pedestrian was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta at the Sacramento intersection.

The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The name and current condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.

The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
