Pedestrian Hit by Motorcycle in University City Hospitalized with Minor Injuries

Pedestrian Injured in University City Crash at La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue

University City, California (February 26, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a motorcycle Tuesday evening at the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue in University City, a local news source reported.

According to officials, the pedestrian, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was at the University City intersection at around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, when a motorcycle struck them.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time remained undisclosed.

The motorcyclist remained at the scene following the accident.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
