Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car on Cajalco Road in Riverside County
1 Killed in Riverside County Pedestrian Accident on Cajalco Road near Carpinus Drive
Riverside County, California (February 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday evening fatal pedestrian versus vehicle accident in Riverside County.
The accident occurred on Cajalco Road near Carpinus Drive, east of Lake Mathews and west of Mead Valley.
At about 6:40 p.m., February 12, the officials responded to a crash and found a pedestrian with fatal injuries. The victim was reportedly struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews who arrived at the scene confirmed the pedestrian died as a result of the accident.
The involved motorist stopped and cooperated with the police.
The crash remains under investigation.
