Pedestrian Killed in Baker Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway

Baker, California (April 21, 2020) – A pedestrian accident north of Baker claimed the life of a 43-year-old man Thursday night, authorities said.

The man was walking across the No. 1 lane of southbound Interstate 15 Freeway when a vehicle struck him at about 9:54 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The driver involved stayed at the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
