Pedestrian Dies after Being Struck by Vehicle on W. Lodi Avenue in Lodi

Man Killed in Lodi Pedestrian Accident on West Lodi Avenue Sunday evening

Lodi, California (February 3, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Lodi Sunday evening, according to officials.

The fatal pedestrian crash happened in the 800 block of West Lodi Avenue at around 6:10 p.m. Sunday, February 2.

Authorities said the man was hit by a vehicle on West Lodi Avenue.

Paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on the victim. Despite life-saving measures, the man did not survive his injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It remains unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.

The road in the area was shut down as the police investigated the crash.
