Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle on Redlands Boulevard in Moreno Valley
Pedestrian Killed in Moreno Valley Crash on Redlands Boulevard and Dracaea Avenue Sunday morning
Moreno Valley, California (April 5, 2020) – A male pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in the area of Redlands Boulevard and Dracaea Avenue in Moreno Valley early Sunday morning, police said.
At about 4:21 a.m., officers received a report about the pedestrian accident at the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Dracaea Avenue.
Authorities determined that the man was struck by a vehicle while he was walking at the Moreno Valley intersection.
The man, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of family, died as a result of the accident.
The involved driver, described as a man in his 30s, stayed at the scene and was cooperative, authorities said.
Authorities closed Redlands Boulevard between Dracaea and Encelia avenues to investigate the crash. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
