Pedestrian Killed in Highway 99 Crash near Lathrop Road Off-Ramp in Manteca
Manteca, California (February 14, 2020) – An accident on Highway 99 in Manteca killed a pedestrian Friday evening.
The pedestrian, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was hit by a vehicle shortly before 5:00 p.m. on the highway near the Lathrop Road off-ramp.
The victim died as a result of the crash.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Three lanes of Highway 99 were shut down during the investigation. The lanes were reopened shortly before 8:00 p.m.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
