I-8 Pedestrian Crash near Willows Road in Alpine
Alpine, California (February 14, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car Thursday afternoon on Interstate 8 in Alpine.
As per the CHP report, firefighters were among the first responders. At the scene, they found the victim with serious injuries.
The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Willows Road.
Authorities said the car involved was towed away for evidence.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
