Authorities Investigating Oroville Car Crash on Upper Palermo Road

Oroville, California (January 2, 2020) – Authorities said major injuries were sustained when two vehicles collided head-on Wednesday night in Oroville.

A report by the California Highway Patrol said the crash took place at about 10:15 p.m. on Upper Palermo Road near Maple Avenue.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a white sedan crossed into opposing traffic and slammed head-on into a blue Dodge Journey.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid and transport the victim to the hospital.

CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
