Ontario Truck Crash on 10 Freeway near Archibald Avenue Kills At Least 1 Victim

CHP Investigating Ontario Fatal Traffic Accident on 10 Freeway at Archibald Avenue

Ontario, California (June 16, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to a fatal traffic collision on 10 Freeway, near Archibald Avenue in Ontario at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

At least one person died at the scene after two semi-trucks and a car collided in the eastbound lanes of the Freeway near Ontario International Airport Tuesday morning.

The car was reportedly trapped in between the trucks, and its motorist was pinned inside upon the impact.

The wreck resulted in the closure of all eastbound lanes for about two hours.

Officials requested tow trucks to remove at least two of the involved automobiles away from the crash site.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
