Deadly Berkeley Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 80 Under Investigation

Berkeley, California – A deadly multi-vehicle crash happened on Interstate 80 near around 3 pm on Wednesday and the authorities are investigating into this matter.

The California Highway Patrol stated that a green colored Toyota Tercel was traveling at a high speed eastbound on Interstate 80 when it changed lanes and collided with a black colored Lexus IS 350 west of Buchanan Street.

The driver of the Toyota Tercel lost control and struck into the center divider, after that, it collided with the third vehicle, a blue Ford Ranger SUV.

The driver of the Tercel was declared dead right at the scene, however, his identity was not immediately revealed.

The accident scene blocked the four lanes of the highway for more than an hour.

No injuries were reported from the multi-vehicle crash.

There was no involvement of alcohol or drugs according to the CHP, and are investigating the cause of the crash.
