Omari Dill Dies after Rio Vista Car Crash on Highway 160 near West Sherman Island Road
Rio Vista, California (April 19, 2020) – Omari Marquez Dill, 7, of Sacramento, has been identified as one of three people killed in Tuesday evening car accident in Rio Vista, police said.
The crash happened at about 7:00 p.m., April 14, on Highway 160, just north of West Sherman Island Road.
As per the police reports, the crash occurred when a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 160 lost control and swerved into the path of a southbound pickup truck. The two cars eventually collided head-on.
Dill and two others in the car that lost control were pronounced dead at the scene. Two occupants in the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
