Rider Injured in Oakland Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 880 at 5th Avenue
Oakland, California (March 5, 2020) – A rider sustained minor injuries following a traffic accident that took place in Oakland at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Wednesday.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a motorcycle and a Toyota Camry collided on the northbound I-880 at 5th Avenue on Wednesday morning.
The CHP said vehicles were blocking the left lane following the wreck.
Oakland Fire Department responded to the scene and attended to the wounded victim.
The crash resulted in the closure of the roadway up to about 7:30 a.m.
Officials requested tow trucks to remove both the motorcycle and the Toyota Camry away from the crash site.
