5 Injured in Riverside Car Crash on 91 Freeway and La Sierra Avenue

Riverside, California (January 20, 2020) – Five persons were injured after a Riverside car crash early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at around 1:10 a.m. January 18, on 91 Freeway, just east of La Sierra Avenue.

As per the CHP officials, multiple cars crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Responding firefighters freed one person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles following the collision. The freed party and two other persons sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision.

The medical personnel attended to a total of five persons who were injured in the collision.

The roadway was closed for more than an hour due to the collision.

An investigation is underway.
