Injuries Reported after Yorba Linda 5-Vehicle Crash on Riverside Freeway

Yorba Linda, California (February 25, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is reporting injuries in a multi-car accident that happened early Tuesday morning on Riverside (91) Freeway in Yorba Linda.

At around 1:00 a.m. the CHP officers received a report regarding a traffic crash involving three vehicles on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway near the exit to the 241 Toll Road.

A few minutes later, two other vehicles crashed into the three vehicles that were halted after the initial collision, the CHP report stated.

Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to those who were hurt as a result of the crash. The exact number of patients and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

According to the CHP, one of the drivers fled the scene heading southbound on the 241 Toll Road.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
