Man Killed in Oceanside Motorcycle Accident on Oceanside Boulevard

Oceanside, California (February 9, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in a collision with a truck in Oceanside, according to authorities.

The deadly crash was reported at around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, February 8 on Oceanside Boulevard at the El Corazon compost facility.

Authorities said a truck was exiting the facility and was attempting to make an illegal left turn when it collided with the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist, only identified as a 53-year-old Oceanside man, died in the crash.

The truck driver was arrested and booked into jail for gross vehicular manslaughter charges.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
