Rider Sustains Serious Injuries in Monterey County Motorcycle Collision on Metz Road near Spreckels Road

Monterey County, California (May 31, 2020) – A traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Monterey County Friday evening resulted in serious injuries.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the black motorcycle crashed with a 2016 white Dodge Ram 3500 on Metz Road near Spreckels Road at around 6:06 p.m. May 29.

The unidentified rider was hospitalized with major injuries sustained in the wreck.

Details regarding the involved motorist were not immediately established at the time of the report.

The CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
