Minor Injuries Sustained in San Carlos Accident on Highway 101 near Holly Street

San Carlos, California (March 30, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that led to minor injuries on Sunday afternoon in San Carlos.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 2:10 p.m. Sunday, March 29, on northbound Highway 101, just south of Holly Street.

As per the CHP officials, a white Mercedes sedan and a white Toyota Camry crashed for unknown reasons. Airbags were reportedly deployed in one of the cars at the time.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 3, 4 and 5 following the collision.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
