Minor Injury Crash on 101 Freeway in Camarillo

2 Injured in Camarillo Bus Accident on 101 Freeway near Carmen Drive

Camarillo, California (January 17, 2020) – Two people sustained injuries following a traffic accident that happened Friday afternoon in Camarillo, a local news source reported.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 1:19 p.m. Friday, January 17 on U.S. 101 Freeway near Carmen Drive.

The CHP said a gold Honda Civic collided with a school bus on the southbound lane of the freeway. The force of the impact caused the Honda to rollover and landed onto nearby vegetation.

Two occupants of the Honda sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The Honda was towed from the scene of the crash.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
