Minor Injuries Sustained in Natomas Crash on Interstate 5 near Arena Boulevard and Interstate 80
Natomas, California (January 30, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported following a traffic accident that happened Wednesday morning in Natomas, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The multi-vehicle crash took place at around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 29 on Interstate 5, just south of Arena Boulevard and north of Interstate 80.
The CHP said about six vehicles collided, for reasons still under investigation, on Interstate 5.
Authorities said the crash resulted in minor injuries. The total number of patients and their names were not immediately available.
Authorities closed two lanes of southbound Interstate 5 for approximately an hour following the crash. The lanes were reopened at 10:00 a.m.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
