Minor Injuries Sustained after Moorpark Truck Crash on Grimes Canyon Road (Highway 23)
Moorpark, California (February 4, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon between Moorpark and Fillmore, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at about 3:22 p.m. February 3, on Grimes Canyon Road (Highway 23), near the rock quarry north of Moorpark.
The CHP said the crash involved a big rig and a Ford Fusion sedan. The two vehicles collided head-on on the roadway for unknown reasons.
Minor injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
The roadway was blocked due to the crash and was later re-opened at about 4:40 p.m.
More details were not available.
The crash remains under investigation.
