1 Injured in Hopland Accident on Highway 101 near Green Bridge

Hopland, California (December 11, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a big rig collision that left one person hospitalized on Tuesday night in the area of Hopland.

The collision occurred at about 8:22 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, on northbound Highway 101, just south of Green Bridge.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle and a semi-truck collided for reasons yet to be determined.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to render aid to at least one party hurt as a result of the crash. The wounded party and their current condition were not immediately provided.

The vehicles were towed away from the scene.

The cars were blocking the lanes as a result of the collision. All lanes were re-opened as of 9:16 p.m.

No further details regarding this collision were released.
