Coroner ID’d Joshua Nampraseut and Jeremi Hanks as Victims Killed in Pleasanton Car Accident on 680 Freeway
Pleasanton, California (April 20, 2020) – The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau has released the names of the two men who died after a 1996 Lexus sedan traveling southbound on Interstate 680 Freeway slammed into a semi-truck at about 2:16 a.m. April 17.
The California Highway Patrol did not disclose the circumstances that lead to the collision near Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton early Friday morning.
Due to the impact, 21-year-old Joshua Nampraseut and 22-year-old Jeremi Hanks were ejected from the car.
Both Nampraseut and Hanks died in the accident.
The operator of the semi-truck was not injured in the mishap.
The fatal accident remains under investigation.
