CHP identifies Man Killed in Phelan Single-Car Crash on Sheep Creek Road Identified as Mario Rodriguez

Phelan, California – After the Phelan single-car accident that happened on Sheep Creek Road on Sunday morning, one man was killed who was identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division as Mario Rodriguez, 30 of Bloomington.

Mario was traveling northbound on Sheep Creek Road just south of Sandstone Road, when for unknown reasons his vehicle went off the roadway into a dirt field.

The vehicle rolled over several times ejecting Mario out of the vehicle.

On September 6, at around 6:32 am, this incident was reported.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department rushed to the accident site where they declared Mario dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
