Antioch Man, Oakley Woman Critically Injured in Brentwood Head-On Crash on Lone Tree Way near Fairview Avenue

Brentwood, California (March 2, 2020) — A man and woman sustained major injuries late Sunday night following a traffic accident involving two vehicles in Brentwood, according to a local news source.

Just after 10:45 p.m. Sunday, March 1, two vehicles collided head-on on Lone Tree Way, just east of Fairview Avenue.

A 57-year-old Oakley woman and a 26-year-old Antioch man were trapped inside the wreckage and were extricated by firefighters.

The man had a badly broken leg and was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek while the woman was also taken by ground ambulance to the same hospital for treatment of major injuries.

It remains unclear if alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision. The Brentwood police are investigating the accident.
