Man Severely Injured in Fresno County Crash on Mountain View Avenue

Man Hospitalized after Rear-End Crash on Mountain View Avenue in Fresno County

Fresno, California (May 25, 2020) – A man was severely injured when two vehicles collided on Mountain View Avenue, east of Highway 43 in Fresno County, according to a CAL FIRE/Fresno County Fire report.

As per the report, a car rear-ended another on Sunday, May 24, at about 10:35 p.m. for unknown reasons.

One of the cars involved also hit a telephone pole, shearing it. Cables fell across the roadway, completely blocking it.

The driver in the car that rear-ended the other was severely injured. The victim was transported to the hospital with a possible head injury.

The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The crash forced the closure of Mountain View Avenue for about an hour and a half.
