Man Suffer Major Injuries in Visalia Pedestrian Accident at Walnut Avenue and Shirk Road

Visalia, California (January 22, 2020) – According to a local news source, a man was hospitalized  late Sunday night after being hit by a vehicle in the area of Walnut Avenue and Shirk Road in Visalia.

According to authorities, the crash took place at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Shirk Road Sunday, January 19.

Police said the man was walking in the area when for an undetermined reason, a 2017 Honda Civic struck him.

The man suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital. His name and condition were immediately not available.

Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
