Dontae Wilburn Arrested After Fatal Stockton Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Hammer Lane
Stockton, California (May 4, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to an alleged hit-and-run fatal pedestrian accident in the 2300 block of West Hammer Lane Saturday afternoon.
As per the report, a man and woman, both in their 40s, were hit by a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Dontae Wilburn in the parking lot of a shopping center just about 3:30 p.m. on May 2.
Wilburn fled the scene after hitting the two victims.
The patients were transported to a local hospital by medical personnel, where the male party later died.
The female victim reportedly sustained minor injuries following the mishap.
Wilburn was later arrested by authorities and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on homicide-related charges.
