Man Killed in Wilmington Bicycle Accident on Pacific Coast Highway 

Bicyclist Struck and Killed by 2 Vehicles on Pacific Coast Highway in Wilmington

Wilmington, California (May 6, 2020)  A male party died following a bicycle accident that happened on Pacific Coast Highway in Wilmington at about 5:25 a.m. May 5.

Los Angeles police said the man was riding his bicycle eastbound across the highway when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle Tuesday morning.

Due to the impact, the bicyclist was thrown from the bike and was struck by a second westbound automobile.

According to the dispatch, it appeared the man was crossing the road against a red light.

Meanwhile, both motorists remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
