Man Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Highway 41 at Grangeville Boulevard
Fresno, California (April 1, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a crash that left one pedestrian killed on Wednesday morning in Fresno, Kings County.
The crash happened in the northbound lane of Highway 41 at Grangeville Boulevard, at about 3:00 a.m.
Authorities said a man was hit by a vehicle on the roadway. The reasons that led to the crash were yet to be established, according to the authorities.
The man was found lying along the roadway by emergency crews. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car that struck the man contacted the police and remained at the scene.
The roadway was closed for over an hour following the accident.
More information about the crash was not disclosed.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
