Police Seek Driver in Deadly Modesto Hit-And-Run Accident on Tuesday Night

Modesto, California – The authorities are searching for a motorcyclist who was involved in the deadly Modesto hit-and-run accident at 8th and L streets on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday night, a man was walking across the L street when he was hit by a westbound truck.

Following the accident, the driver fled the scene however the victim was killed.

Modesto police have suspected the truck to be a dark green 1994-2004 Chevrolet S-10 or a GMC Jimmy. The truck had an aluminum diamond plate cross toolbox and a tinted window at the rear.
