Man Hospitalized After Pacific Beach Accident on Bayard Street and Grand Avenue

Major Injury Pacific Beach Pedestrian Accident on Bayard Street and Grand Avenue

Pacific Beach, California (January 31, 2020) – A 50-year-old male pedestrian was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic crash that happened in Pacific Beach at about 6:00 p.m. January 30.

The San Diego police said the major-injury collision took place on Thursday evening at Bayard Street and Grand Avenue.

The accident involved the male party who was in a wheelchair and a 2008 Nissan Versa operated by a 33-year-old woman.

The initial report indicated that the man was trying to cross the street against a red light when the Nissan struck him.

The female motorist stopped after the collision and cooperated with the investigation.

The victim was hospitalized with serious leg injuries sustained in the wreck.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.

According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice.

Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
