Pedestrian Killed in Lathrop Collision at Lakeside Drive and Patriot Way

Lathrop, California (March 4, 2020) – A vehicle hit and killed a man trying to cross a road in Lathrop on Tuesday morning, according to the Lathrop Police Department.

The deadly accident, which occurred at Lakeside Drive and Patriot Way, took place at around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 3.

According to the investigators, the man who was walking along Lakeside Drive attempted to cross the street and was struck by a vehicle heading east on Patriot Way.

The victim was killed in the crash. His name was not released by the police.

The woman driving the involved vehicle stayed at the scene after the collision.

No further details were released.

The Lathrop Police Department is investigating the incident.
