Male Person Dies after Apple Valley Pedestrian Crash on Bear Valley Road
Apple Valley, California (May 5, 2020) – One person was killed after he was struck by three cars on Monday night in Apple Valley, according to authorities.
At about 8:37 p.m., on May 4, the police reported to the deadly crash in the 21500 block of Bear Valley Road.
As per the officials’ reports, a male pedestrian was struck by a car while he was attempting to cross Bear Valley Road from southbound to northbound.
The male had reportedly stopped in the center divider when an eastbound vehicle on Bear Valley Road attempting to turn left into the shopping center struck him.
Following the collision, the pedestrian was pushed onto No.1 westbound lane, where he was hit by two other westbound vehicles.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved drivers stopped and were cooperating with the police.
Bear Valley Road between Mohawk and Navajo Roads was closed for an unknown period.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
