Fatal Modesto Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 near Kansas Avenue

Modesto, California (March 4, 2020) – A male party died following a pedestrian accident that happened in the area of Modesto at around 4:38 a.m. on March 1.

According to a local news source, the male party was struck by a car on SR-99, just north of Kansas Avenue on Saturday morning.

The involved driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The victim was found laying on the west shoulder of the freeway by paramedics who responded at the scene shortly after the wreck.

Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian was declared deceased at the crash site.

The name of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
