Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle Crash on West Avenue and Dakota Avenue in Central Fresno
Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Central Fresno Crash on West Avenue and Dakota Avenue
Central Fresno, California (March 18, 2020) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after an accident involving a car and a motorcycle on Tuesday evening in Central Fresno, police said.
The crash was reported at around 6:00 p.m. March 17, at the intersection of West Avenue and Dakota Avenue.
Authorities said a man was riding his motorcycle south on West Avenue while a white BMW was heading north on West Avenue and made a westbound turn on Dakota Avenue. The BMW and the motorcycle collided at the intersection.
The man was seriously injured and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The identity of the victim was not disclosed.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the police.
The crash remains under investigation.
