At Least 1 Hospitalized After Soledad Truck Accident on Highway 101

Soledad, California (May 2, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized after a blue Honda Odyssey van crashed into the rear of a big rig truck Friday morning in Soledad.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish the circumstances that led to the collision at around 7:32 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 near the Front Street off-ramp.

Due to the impact of the collision, the Honda Odyssey rolled over and wound up facing the wrong way in the No. 1 lane.

One of the two people riding in the van sustained major injuries. Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 7:32 a.m. and transported at least one victim to the hospital for further medical aid.

The CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
