1 Hospitalized after Cajon Pass Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway 

Cajon Pass, California (February 28, 2020) – One person was hospitalized in critical condition after an accident involving a semi-truck and a sedan in Cajon Pass, on Thursday, February 27, at around 7:35 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash on the northbound 15 freeway near the truck scales, near Highway 138.

According to the report, a black sedan rear-ended the semi-truck on the freeway.

One person was trapped inside the sedan, and it took about 25 minutes to extricate the victim.

An air ambulance was requested, but it was later cancelled, and the victim was transported via ground ambulance to the trauma center.

No other injuries were reported in the collision.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
