Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident on 405 Freeway near Getty Center Drive
Los Angeles, California (February 5, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a motorcycle accident that took place in the area of West Los Angeles on Wednesday morning.
The major injury crash happened on southbound 405 Freeway, just south of Getty Center Drive at about 7:34 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident involved a motorcycle and a white Ford. The manner in which the accident occurred was not disclosed.
Due to the impact, the unidentified rider was ejected from the motorbike.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene and rendered aid to at least one victim who suffered major injuries in the mishap.
The crash resulted in the closure of the No. 1 and HOV lanes for about an hour.
The investigation is underway.
