Lizhu Peng Killed in Fatal Oakland Bicycle Crash at Second Avenue and East 12th Street

Oakland, California – The bicyclist who was killed in the deadly accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Second Avenue and East 12th Street in Oakland has been identified as Lizhu Peng, 67 by the coroner’s office.

On September 15, at around 12:12 pm, the accident took place, according to the authorities.

Peng was reportedly riding a bike when she was hit by a U-Haul van. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene.

Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be the factor playing in the accident.

An investigation is ongoing to find the cause of the accident.
