Victim Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Crash at Marks Avenue and Sussex Way ID’d as Leonardo Molina
Fresno, California (February 4, 2020) – 90-year-old Leonardo Molina has been identified as the elderly victim who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the area of Fresno on Thursday night.
The fatal pedestrian collision happened at the intersection of Marks Avenue and Sussex Way.
As per the report, Molina, who was in a motorized wheelchair, was hit by a vehicle while crossing the intersection legally.
The initial report indicated that the vehicle was turning left at Marks Avenue and Sussex Way, but there was no marked crosswalk in the area.
Molina died at Community Regional Medical Center, where he was admitted after the accident.
The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
